flower pot coral

y reef store gave me a small flower pot coral to try in my aquarium...it is the size of a quarter...they said set it on the sand...i did however my crabs are throwing it all over the place...so i took it and put it up in the rocks...i had to use a little bit of water putty to hold it in place...will it be ok?

Yes.
I would highly recommend reading this article if you want to keep a flowerpot. The author also developed a special prepared food for them called Goniopower.
