Flower pot corals

Flower pots...love um or hate um? I have been doing a lot of reading on flower pot coral. What I would like to know is...if you have success with them, please share what works for you. I am under taking the process of trying to start from scratch with a new goni. I will try to post pictures of progress. Second question, what do you like to feed your flower pots?

Well, so far I have learned that they love low flow. High flow seems to just finish them off. I have also learned that low the medium light works also.

which is weird.. ok I have gonipora's in 3 tanks.. the one in the 93 is huge, it is in a high flow and loves it, it is about 2/3 up in the tank so higher light.. the one in my bully tank is small but lower flow and still high up.. the ones in the 120 (one died I could not save it from the phosphate plunge) both are bout midway up and were doing great mid flow area.. food phyto stuff, and once a week I put fuel and sustain into the tanks.. when I feed I also make sure I direct feed all my corals.. which is the phyto stuff w a lil bit of Mysis in it

Yes...I have also tried them in many different flows and light. The combo that seems to work with my little frag is low light and low flow. I just hope it keeps growing so I can post some pictures.

I have seen pictures of the new BRIGHT colored flower pots coming into BSL this week, let me just say...I WANT ONE SOOOO BAD! lol. Still working on my growing of these though.

Oyster feast and oyster eggs seem to be doing the trick for meal for flower pot. So far so good.

Pretty good!! But not as good as i would like it!
