Hey guys, I have tried flower pots before with limited to no success. Kept one alive for a few months and then it just died on me. I could not help but purchase this one which was in an lfs for about 2 weeks. Open and happy when I bought it and the gentleman said that the color had not changed at all. So I'm hoping it is accurate and also praying that I can keep it alive. Anybody with success on these Coral please chime in and let me know the best way to try and keep it healthy and happy. Thank you

They like the water a little dirty in terms of nutrients, Ultra low phosphates and nitrates are not good for these corals. They also like a decent amount of flow. Feeding once a week with particulate or freeze-dried plankton type foods will also benefit them. It also will not last long if clownfish are hosting it.

It is in a moderate light and moderate flow area of the tank right now. The flow might lean more towards low than moderate but it's in that area. My clowns are happily hosted in my bta's so that's not a problem. I do use Coral Foods once or twice a week so that should be good. And my nitrates and phosphates are certainly not zero. So I think I'm okay. Thank you for the input

Ask my wife to send me a pic hoping to see a happy goni. And got this. Any suggestions? Looks like maybe too much light
