I have a shrimp living in one of my flowerpot head hole do i remove this? It seems to be a hitchhiker

No but i think it might be a flatworm instead i pulled it out of my tank then i kept chopping the coral until a flat creature came out. I tried dipping but even after dipping it still lives so i had to kinda destroy my flower pot to get him
