I have found many, in my aquarium to where (thanks reef2reef members) have highlighted hydroids, which then turn into jellyfish, medusa stage .

I'm using kalkwasser ATM which seems to be working. "Please research and use in accordance of your aquarium" as it's chemical based

I make a paste and smother as much as possible, I only use a small amount at a time, I'm hoping to slowly smother them to death.

I'm open to any other suggestions

Yeah, jellyfish and hydroids have very similar life cycles and can be surprisingly difficult to tell apart in their polyp stages - regardless, they're generally considered not safe for a typical reef tank.

I think I caught approximately 8, I actually seen the 'flower' have a jellyfish head ready to detach... It was the 'polyp' stage

So the stalk was on my rocks with a jelly fish swimming.. ready to detach

I guess cool looking and definitely something new but I know now, I will remove.

These pictures are awesome! Thanks for posting!

So after further investigation (lol no I did not know anything about jellyfish so I've had to do some learning and dot connecting) I think they are upside down jellyfish. I have a few sitting around the tank pulsing away. I have never thought about where jellyfish babies come from (swimming storks right?).
