Kind of hard to tell with blue lights, but I think it is. Very contagious and I would isolate this coral asap. It looked great and I spun it around yesterday it looks like maybe brown jelly? What can I do?? It’s the most expensive coral I’ve pulled the trigger on at $50 I really don’t want to lose it.
Other corals are doing okay, I had a monti frag die off recently. I believe alk swing. But other than that everything is okay. Unfortunately I had to toss the coral today it was completely dead. I dipped it in seachem dip when I brought it home which has iodine in it. 400 calc 8.1-2 ph 7.5 alk
Thank you for the information... unfortunately the coral is gone . Sad day in my journey as a reefer. It quickly became my favorite coral and now it has passed. I hope my frogspawn doesn’t get it. I now have set up a QT tank just in case something happens I can stop it. I tried dipping etc but overnight the flowerpot (baseball size) was a goner. Thank you all for you help and suggestions. It may be a while before I muster up the courage to get another pricey to me coral.
