I am being lazy and know if I look long enough I can find the answer but it is on my mind so I thought I would ask.

Planning twin 1 1/2 inch durso drains on this 650 gallon build. What would be the flow rate estimated? Have a rollermat which can only handle 660 gph. Think I will have to part with it.

A 1 1/2" Durso should be able to handle up to 1500gph giving you a max flow of 3000gph.

Why not a BeanAnimal or at least a Herbie on a tank that size? Those Durso's will be noisy.

Tank that size probably really needs 2 sets of bean animal drains. Something to consider.

I got this tank used and the guy before me was running twin durso's. definitely open to a bean animal but will have to see if there is room for a third while in the bottom within the confines of the overflow.
