Like to do another update on my Aquascape! When I first set up the tank which should be in next 4 wks, give or take, just waiting on Synergy to complete my CL-44 sump and my matching 10-gallon ATO container.
I was thinking, In order to speed up my cycle, I am going to use some of my Old School #Premium #Ultra #Fiji live rock that I have left over from my previous 120 mixed reef build.
Going be using some E-Marco / E-400 Mortar to cement my selected piece in place for the #Aquascape.. This stuff is reef safe and really works awesome for making custom shapes and pieces.
Also, I will be using Acrylic rods so I make some really cool ledges, and over hangs - etc. Also, I will be adding Dr Tim's

I have been thinking about my new scape for a while now, for the new build! I was thinking maybe something like this - For that minimalist type #Aquascape that I am looking for. My new SCA 150 will mainly be an all SPS dominate type tank? In the meantime, I am recurring my live rock in my 35-gallon Brute garbage can and got a heater in there at around 82 degrees. I skipped the bleach bath since this Premium #Ultra #Fiji live rock does not smell one bit. I have had it stored in the back left grey container as you see in the picture on the left-hand side for about two months. Either way, it's currently recurring and I will also use some MicrōBacter7 from #BrightwellAquatics.

I would like to get into cycling ours tanks and how I am going to be cycling my new system and what all the products that I have had success in the past with. As soon as my fill up the 150 gallons which which should only tank a few hours since I have a 50-gallon saltwater mixing station w/ a 6 Stage RODI w/ a Dual Membrane which makes up to 15 gallons per day if need to be... Ones my tank is filled, my first goto product is #DrTim's - nitrifying bacteria and there which will remove the toxic ammonia from the aquarium as well controls other offensive odors. I added a link for some more literature on #Dr #Tim's One and Only nitrifying bacteria and the process of how it works and the steps you take to cycle your tank. I added a link that has a short vide on Dr Tims stuff should be properly added to your display. Dr. Tims products and videos that they have on there website. Plus, I will be using around 50lbs of some Old School Premium Fiji Live rock that will be pre-cured and ready to go since my Fiji has been in a Brute 35-gallon Commercial grade Garbage can for cycling my live rock. I would be careful on what you use to cycle your life rock b/c IF it's not a commercial grade Brute CAN, you could get some leaching. I will only use Brute cans b.c I know for a fact that the material that Rubbermaid uses on there #Brute cans will not leach anything. This stuff is not cheap by any means but it's very effective.

New Update on my Mounting System for my #Orphek Atlantik Compact V4 (Gen 2) LED fixtures that I will be running on my 150.

#Orphek mounting brackets 2 sets / Came in today direct from Orphek..

One set on in the front and the 2nd set is on the other side in the box.

Plus, I got me two #Legrand Wire management tracks for my RODI station, so I can run them around the back of the hose for the RODI tubing. I love this stuff b/c you can paint it and make it look nice and tight.

The legrand tracks are nice I used them for my AWC and RODI lines. The kits are the best value as the individual parts are pricy

Thanks, @lbacha, this material works great for wire management!!! Speaking of wire management, first, I need to tighten up my saltwater mixing station w/ all of my RODI lines running in a million directions
I will probably need to buy 2 or 3 more of those #Legrand 4 packs to be able to be complete the job for my RODI line and my Automatic Water change line.

They are awesome, I couldn’t believe how well built mine was when I got it. I have a gen1 but I think the gateway is the main difference. Just watch to not tighten the hanging bolts too much as it will distort the top, I made that mistake

Let's get into my Aquarium controller and how I am going to be mounting everything. I know a lot of people were asking me how I am going to run all of my controllers etc.
I am currently working on my custom electrical panel that I bought from @MarineDepot. I will be installing my ApexEL modules and my @AVAST Marine breakout box and run another panel for all of my Pump controllers and all of my power supplies..

@lbacha - Were they easy to set up with the Gateway wifi box that I also will be buying?

So I originally downloaded their newest app and I couldn’t get it to work at all (this was March of last year) I went and deleted thy and downloaded the original app and it worked like a charm. I’m afraid to put the new app on my phone as I’ve had almost a year of flawless operations with the old app and it is really easy to use and does everything I would want.

I’m guessing it’s different with the v2 as it’s a new gateway than my v1 gateway. Their app is really easy to use and setup though and it’s easy to turn the lights on if you want to take some pics or try some different color combos

I know a lot of people have been asking what and where am I going to be mounting all of my power bricks and Apex gear and all of the 8 controllers for powerheads, return pumps, etc.

After doing a lot of research, I came across this at @MarineDepot, Panel that they are selling just for this application. My 2nd panel will have all my EcoTech Marine Controllers, Reef Octo Skimmer controller, and my 2 Tunze Turbelle Nanostreams 6055 controllers installed on the front side and have all of my power strips which will be installed on the back side of the panel. I am not sure if mine will turn out as great as yours @Elder1945 - but I can guarantee it that it's going to look nice and tight with my #Synergy CL-44 sump and my 10-gallon Synergy Resverior and the dual deluxe panels

I like the MD controller boards they look quite sharp . You can paint them as well if needed. Just give it a light scuff and paint away.

I’m starting with a clean palette (2’x4’ edge joined pine panel)

@lbacha, I have done that in the past in a little cabinet when I was running my 120 mixed reef tank! I am sure I can find some pictures of it...Whatever you do make sure you leave yourself enough room under each controller or module for a 1'' or 2'' computer grommet.
These are key, trust me to hide all of your wires. Make sure you let us know how your panel comes out?
