flucanozole use with carbon dosing

to rid of some bryopsis and hair algae, im about to use the reef flux flucanozole. It is suspected, or at least mentioned elsewhere, that the death of bryopsis/hair algae, that it will release any N and P that it is holding. to combat that, i could dose carbon, specifically np bacto balance or elimi np, depending on what raises most(n or p). right now, im at about a .06 phosphate, and about a 20 nitrate.
obviously, my phosphate isnt too bad, and i feel that its in a pretty good place right now. my suspicion is that it will probably raise up to .2 without any interaction with reducing it. nitrate, is on the higher end right now, and i dont foresee that staying in a good range, so to kill two birds with one stone, i would like to carbon dose, but im not sure if carbon dosing at the same time that flucanozole is introduced, will reduce the effects of one or another, or if it is even a good idea.

would love to hear from those that have done this first hand, if any.

I’ve used carbon dosing in the past, but it actually stripped my water of too many nutrients, which caused a lot of problems. I don’t know if it interacts with reef flux, which I’ve also used. Depending on the size of your tank, water changes will help. Fwiw, your numbers aren’t that bad unless you have SPS coral in your tank. Whatever you do, try not to make quick changes. FWIW, I've never used fluconazole, but i do not know of a reason it cannot be used while carbon dosing.

after fluc, i will have to do at least a 30% water change. my levels should be elevated after this, at least i assume so if it does what i think its going to do. so, if my nitrates raise by 50% or 100%, ill still be at 20ish nitrates, so a water change after fluc, will get me to where i am. after water change, my thought is that it will help so im not having to do a huge water cahnge larger than 30%. i just dont know how much my nitrates are gonna go up yet, im just hoping that it doesnt go nuts, but want a way to help not going to 80 during the process.

when i do carbon dose, i generally go really light versus what the directions say, because you know, the issues that people run in to when they go crazy on carbon dosing and bigger problems

I’ve emptied out filter socks daily while Bryopsis and gha is floating around the tank after flucanozole treatments. Kept my nitrates pretty low. I made a video about it if you’d like to reference:
