Fluconazole use causing Diatoms

While using Fluconazole, I noticed that the tank was being overrun by diatoms! Upon researching about the inactive ingredients in the caplets, I discovered that it contains a source of sillicates!

Look at the bottom part of the "Description", the first listed inactive ingredient is colloidal silicon dioxide.

Not all of them seem to contain silicon dioxide though. Diflucan does not appear to contain silicon dioxide.
