Fluconazole ??

So I'm coming up on Day 14 of my Fluconazole treatment and still have a good amount of hair algae. Should I remove it at Day 14, or let it stay in for awhile longer? Should I follow-up with a second treatment later on?

Be patient, it takes time. My round took about 5 weeks to start to work. I cleaned my mesh filter bags every 2 days during that time to avoid nutrient spikes and that seemed to work. I am now back to weekly cleans.

You also need a CUC to help clean out the dead and dying HA. And also stop it getting a foothold again. In my case a Hermit an mix of Trochus and Money Cowries did that.

I've got a mix of hermits, urchins, and snails so more than enough cuc I think.

Pull what you can and wait for the rest to die. I ended up doing 2 treatments on my tank to get it all.

Would you recommend ending my treatment at day 14 or should I let it sit longer? How long did you space your treatments out?

I only left my skimmer offline for the first 5 days. That was just following the Reef Flux instructions, seemed to work well.

Its been a while but I think I let it go 21 days then did a water change and did another treatment. I might wave waited another week after the water change

I just started this 3 days ago as well but for bryprosis. Should I leave the skimmer off longer then 3 like the directions said?

Thanks, I'm trying the capsules from Payless pet products again, I think I screwed up and left my gfo in during the treatment which probably messed it up. I left my chaeto and it didn't seem to be bothered.
