Fluconozole and Alkalinity

Just finished a successful round of fluconozole and have noticed my alk and cal are way low. Was wondering if fluco treatment affects the alk measurments (hanna)?

Dosing as usual during treatment but Alk dropped to 5dkh. Alk tests during fluco treatment seemed a little wonky but not alarming. I Usually keep it around 8.5dkh.
That said... Tank is better than ever with good color and even a bit of growth on a couple difficult sps over the past couple weeks during treatment.

Update: Looks like I'm having an unrelated issue with precipitation. Noted that that my return pump was crusted with calc and a lot of light brown precipitation on the bottom of the sump. Referring to the BRS precipitation video on how to deal with this.
