I performed a five minute freshwater dip on my clown after noticing a white chunk on his eye. The fresh water dip removed the chunk but his eye is still cloudy.

These are the best pics I can get. She is mad at me now.

Will it heal?

One eye effected is usually an injury. Can treat the tank with plain Epsom Salts 1 tablespoon per 5 gallons of water. You can dose this twice if needed. If it doesn't clear up, antibiotics for a bacterial infection are the next step. Usually if flukes are a problem both eyes are effected. So watch your clown's eye for any changes.

Will the magnesium sulfate harm my inverts?

The Epsom Salts can cause a very slight increase in magnesium in the tank, which is usually a good/desired thing. The sulfate change is unknown for its effects. But people have been using this treatment for a long time. But as always, your mileage can vary. Just make sure to use "Plain" USP Epsom Salts, not the scented type.

Thanks. My clowns are hiding now. Not happy about my freshwater dip. They are usually cruising around. Now they are hiding.[emoji19]
