so i am quarantining a carpenter wrasse, corris wrasse and mimic tang. the tang started acting a little weird then wouldn't eat and then the next day(yesterday) he wasn't swimming much so i did a fw dip and sure enough flukes came off. but at that point i think it was too late for him he still didnt want to swim much even with me trying to get him to. this morning he was dead. I dipped both wrasses last night as well and they had flukes also but seem a lot heathier. i have had them in copper around 2 week now and have been dosing metro and focus. what should my next steps be. can i do somthing my prazipro with copper or should i stop copper and just worry about flukes right now?

I have successfully done prazipro with copper. It still isn't recommended though but if you do it be sure to have a lot of water disturbance to increase air supply in your water.

I would however recommend discontinuing copper and treating for flukes.

ok thanks! i haven't seen any thing that looks like velvet or ich, when the flukes are gone should i still start up copper again? also i have another tank i can use as a qt should i just transfer them to that tank to start prazi?

Treat with copper when you're done with prazipro. Setting up a second tank isn't needed if you remove the copper in the tank.
