I been battling this parasite for six months, I have followed directions to the T on using Praziquantel powder even last treatment about 3 weeks ago I used a double dosage in my tank (600 gals tank). They are back again is there any other medication I can use or does anybody have a game plan that works using Praziquantel, I have medicated tank back to back for 2 weeks every time with them returning . Their has been no new add ons (fish in 5 months). Any advice & knowledge would be greatly appreciate it I'm at my end with this.

If you know it’s flukes, have you tried freshwater bath which is effective against flukes? Also praziPro works well against flukes

prazi resistant flukes have become common. I use fenbendazole now with great results.

Dosage is 2.5mg/ l, same as praziquantel.

Very safe for fish, safer than prazi. I think it would kill any inverts. Doesnt affect biofilter that I can tell. Turns water milky but it clears up especially with carbon.

Hypo might also be another option for you

well had a aquarium kinda of specialist tell me its Fluke trigger and angels eyes get white marks and start to budge my bat fish has like blotches on him, its not ick. when I treat it the last several times with praziquantel everything went back to normal eyes and blotches also stop scratching themselves against coral and rocks

Fresh water dip. Flukes fall off the fish during the bath and look like opaque sesame seeds in the water. easiest way to identify flukes.

Hi where did you guys get Fenbenzadole? Do you need a script? Trying to eradicate prazi resistant flukes!!! Thanks for your help

Recommended FW dip. Have not seen where it was tried or attempted.
