Flukes in the reef tank?!!

Hello, today I just got back from my class and I see a little white dot on my blue hippo tang, then he turns and I see another one! My purple tang swims by and I see a little dot on him, please help and tell me if this is flukes or something else asap!!!!!

Looks like a nick or even tail strike from another tang.
Flukes other than neobendenia see rarely seen
Keep an eye on it over next 34 hours to assure the dot remains as one and not increasing and also assure ammonia and nitrate have not become elevated

+1, flukes don’t cause white spots and this looks too large to be ich, so it just beats watching for now- look for scratching, rapid breathing or smaller spots.

Just found out what may have happened, he is in a hole in the rocks sleeping which may have cause it, but I will still keep an eye out for disease

You normally will not see individual flukes except for a type called digeneans. One type of capsalid fluke is very large (1/8”) but they are invisible when alive and on the fish.
That said, you can sometimes see skin damage from flukes.
If you think these are flukes, you can treat relatively easily with Prazipro. Dose it 2x, 8 days apart in your tank with good aeration and no carbon filtration. Run any skimmers, but don’t collect the skimmate during the treatment.
