I just treated my flame fin with acriflavin and FW dips, and this is what he came out looking like. I could tell something wasn’t quite right; he had clamped fins, and the cleaner goby was paying him visits more than the other fish. Problem is, I don’t know if I treated him for brook or flukes. Any way to tell from the spots that showed up? Would brook be a lot more widespread rather than isolated over the body?

Tangs aren’t real prone to Brooklynella, and from what I can see, that doesn’t have the mucus I would expect from Brook. Any chance of getting a clear lateral view of the fish?

Unfortunately, no -- tang is a bit stressed and hiding at this point, and the lights are off. Essentially, the best I could tell, toward the end of the fish's body on both sides it looked like leopard spots, with some darker coloration on the tail, as well. The spots appear to have regained the same coloration as the rest of the body, however. You're right, I didn't see the kind of mucus usually associated with Brooklynella. At this point I'm guessing that the discoloration was where the flukes had fallen off.

Could be, but I've never seen big lesions like that after flukes have fallen off of a fish...even in cases where the flukes were so numerous that the fish bled out, there still wasn't visible marks on the skin.
