So I got two clowns a couple weeks ago the one displayed little white dot near the top of the head and close to the rear of his body but I also noticed a large white dot on his right fin I started dosing cupramine bringing the copper level up slowly I'm on my third day bringing it up to therapeutic levels I did a fresh water dip for five minutes yesterday and I don't think I saw anything in the water fall off and the spot on the right fin is still there would it have fallen off if flukes . Which is more important to treat fish is breathing normal and eating great thank you

Hmm well from what I just read it's good that it is rarely fatal so that makes me feel a little better

It’s so difficult to tell, but I recommend all fish be quarantined in something for ich and velvet, so copper is a good choice. What I see on the fin could well be lymph. Yes, they typically dislodge during a FW dip.

Awesome okay I will continue the copper treatment for thirty days as I reach therapudic levels thank you guys
I think that is a solid plan. Just keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't get much worse. It could be lympho or it could be a small bacterial infection. As long as it isn't growing I wouldn't worry about it to much.
