Long story short, with the help of humble fish my tank is almost 6 weeks fallow and 5 of my 8 fish were saved from ich and velvet.

Last week I transferred the group over from 35 days of theraputic copper into their QT for me to monitor.

During the copper treatment I also found string white poop on my flame angel and flukes so per Humblefish did treatments all separate. metro mixed with food, 2 treatments of GC in food and in water , 2 treatments of prazi, followed by 2 treatments of GC before the move. I saw no signs while in the last 2 weeks of Hospital tank for me to think anything was still around. Everyone super happy and ready to roll!

Now in the QT that is cycled with bio in it I can see flukes on one of the damsels. And the flame had a chunk of white poop not stringy.

So my question now is.....

Do I treat in the QT or move back to the hospital tank? I would believe the flukes are now in the new QT and it would need to be treated regardless.

Or just move the fish back to hospital tank and treat with hypo?

I also read where someone used prazi to actually kill all cycles of flukes by keeping it at a therapeutic level for 14 days and switching water every 3 days not the 5-7 never letting levels drop like in copper treatment?

I'm in this for the long haul and just want to see what you guys would do!

Hypo will cause Flukes to fall off. Although Prazi is NOT recommended cure, you can use it.
Prazi does not kill flukes. It induces uncontrollable spasms to where the fluke dislodges from the fish and continues to spasm. Studies have shown that after 10 hours the fluke dies. Prazi is very gentle on fish to the point it can be overdosed with no ill effects but do not attempt to overdose. Prazi is safe to use in a reef aquarium with minimal casualties such as feathers and other worms. A word of caution: Prazi can act as an appetite suppressant. It also depletes the oxygen in the tank so be sure to fully aerate during treatment.
The most common method of dosing Prazi is dosing 2.5 mg for 5-7 days, then performing a water change, and finally redosing the full amount for another 5-7 days. A third and fourth dose may be necessary. Once treatment is concluded it is recommended to do a large water change and add carbon to remove all traces of Prazi.

Thanks vetteguy!

This is where I wanted to see what others really think if this will work or not.

This is were in the thread I read, which I'll try to find. The OP ran prazi theraputic the whole time and changed water every 3 days to out run and flukes die off as they cant reattached to host there for after 10-14 days flukes are gone....?

I'm tempted to try this over hypo.

And would people move the fish back to hospital tank or treat in QT they are in now?

Just to verify. You mean Hikari prazi pro right? Is there mg on the bottle?

Or do you use a powder?
