Fluorescent Pink Spot on Rock

Anyone have any idea what this is? I have a flourescent pink spot on one of my rocks that looks distinctly different from any of the coralline algae that is growing. Also appears to have either tentacles/sweepers or a slime response.

Did you do a water change and that portion get exposed to air?

I do have vermetid snails unfortunately, but none look like that. And I have not done a water change in a couple of weeks.
