Saw these guys today at a lfs and had to have them..
There where 6 together and the owner told me they have been together for a couple of weeks with no aggressions towards each other.
The six are in my 280 now with 5 hanging around each other.
Also one question one has what looks like a bruise on both sides what could it be?

Also what would be a good anemone to put as a host?
Thanks for looking.

Very nice, thank you for sharing!

Very cool, and just the right size tank to pull off multiple clowns in. Beautiful clowns.

The "bruise" is normal marking. I have one for close to 1 year and it been there from the start.

So I have them now for 4 days doing great swimming together. I added a green carpet yesterday and I saw them this morning swimming in it all together. As the day went 4 of them joined together and pushed the 2 little ones out. Now the 4 stay together and fight the other 2 when they come close to the anemone. Is this normal? Should I add another anemone for the other 2 clowns?

If you want to keep the other two in the tank and have the room for it then yes add another nem but it is all trial and error and luck of the draw, you never know how clowns will react. The four may remain together or they may pair off and push the less dominant pair out. Just be prepared if you have to remove some clowns if it gets too nasty. With a tank your size they should be able to find a corner where they are happy.
