Fluval 13.5 EVO return pump chamber level

I purchased and added the Intank media basket. The basket and the surface skimmer are down as far as I can get them, but the level in the return chamber and the 2ND chamber are only about 1/2 filled and I'm worried that the heater is not being covered with enough water. Suggestions please? Or am I good?

Can you add more saltwater to bring up the height?

I tried that and adding to the chamber, but goes right back down.

OK, figured it out. I had a piece of black plastic blocking the flow. It was hard to see it. Lol. Thanks for the help.

good info i just bought on of theses ill have to keep an eye out
