Not much right now but soon.......

Equipment- Kessil A80, AC 70 aquaclear hob filter modification with grow light and cheato and about 16lbs of sand.

Soon all the corals will be in my 65 and this will be strictly RF Nems and some sexy shrimp. Not sure how I want the scape.

I also need some ideas for fish that wont get gobbled up, so most if not all gobies are out of the question.

I'm sure Ill be asked, but I have to take photos of the filter how I have it modded

I plan on making an order from @Soflow Rubio's Corals for an 11 pack of nems.
Can any previous customers post a photo of your order so I could see what kind of variety you get? Or if you @Soflow Rubio's Corals wouldnt mind could you post a photo of a sample pack that you would send out. Much appreciated.

I was thinking of breaking up the larger rocks and making a couple of islands and one swim through.

Nice setup.
Thanks. I moved my rocks around a little last night. Need to take a picture when I get home tonight but I'm still going to change it up again.

Had to move them this time because the royal gramma was hiding in a small little cave and wouldnt come out. So now he swims for a minute or two then hides again. So I think hes going to be rehomed soon. Thinking about getting a nice damsel or maybe a pair of platinum clowns.

This is the JBJ flat panel 10 gallon AIO

Please start a thread so I can follow yours also.
following along, i will be doing a similar idea in my BC8. Rock flowers and Zoa's

Forgot, I also added a nano koralia powerhead.

Also, I'm changing the rockacape to be a couple islands and a small swim through.

So I took some photos of my hob fuge.

Just a simple modded AquaClear 70 hob filter
In the top down shot you can see how there is a angled piece and that's to allow me to put a piece of filter padding for when I stir things up and need the water polished. It also keeps the cheato away from being sucked up in the impeller, and I flip the cheato every couple of days so it grows evenly

In photo 3 I have a flap just so I can see in the filter without having to take out the cheato.

Love the mod. Does it have a noticeable impact on nitrates of phosphates?

What nitrates and phosphates? Lol very low to zero shows up when testing .

Lol. Have you had the fuge set up for the whole life of the tank then?

Are you using the fuge for nutrient control?

The tank has been setup for about 8 months and have only had one fish and he just got put in there last week. The only other nutrients I have were from me feeding the corals and the nems.

I also loaded the tank with pods and they are everywhere at night. So the cheato is loaded with pods.
