Alright guys I told you a long a time ago my plans for the perfect fit bed bath and beyond stand. This area in my place has been a mess for weeks. I finally started to put it together. Still got to organize some wires. But my vision is finally starting to come to life.

I bought the tank cuz I had the stand from bed bath and beyond. It was a perfect fit, anyways it’s still got a long way to go but my vision is starting to become reality!

Planning to do a rock flower Anenome next. Honestly I was going to do just a basic softy tank. A simple reef. My LFS said why don’t you just go aggressive. It’s already going in that direction. I’m like good point! So I’m going to keep it that way! Something different.

One more little mod I did to that stock return pump. Inline Switch for feeding. So I press feed mode on wavemaker click that and your good to go. I wouldn’t recommend a mod like this infear of condensation or drip. You can seal it up pretty good tho and usually that never happens much anyways. But over all a cheap little mod for that cheap little pump.

Looking good!

Are you worried at all about the wheels supporting the weight of the tank over time?
Thoughts crossed my mind the stand is $56 from bed bath and beyond pretty sturdy and cheap for what it is but I am watching what salt creep might do to it. The castors are removable so I could always take them off.

That’s my plan for the birds nest of wires. I’m going to wrap the bundle in that in a few places. Will be less of an eye sore and easily be zip tied to the metal leg. Next weekend unless I get bored! That outlet is also on a switch with a light. So I still gotta turn that switch into a half switch so the other side is always hot. Doing that now. Right now I have note on the wall switch use lamp chain don’t flip switch :D
