My red valve broke... how in the world am I supposed to get it to pop back up? I feel like I could maybe try to loop some wire in there to get it up. What can I do? I bought a new one (aqua stop valve) and it arrived broken in the same spot!

Yea sorry . There is fishing line on it coz I was trying to see if I could try that on the one that broke on arrival

Do does the white side move at all? From what I can see the white piece controls the open and close operation and allows you to remove the inlet/outlet from the canister, right?

I would probably try to get it in the "open position so water can flow.

If you can't fix that piece, you could just add two in line ball valves on the tubing.

No it’s the red piece. It’s stuck in the down position. So in the filter i can’t pull it back up. Normally it’s connected to a flat red piece that you push down. So when I want to open the filter and clean it it’s probably going to be a lot a harder. The white piece works fine.

I had the same thing happen on a 207. I just bought a new one. Parts are everywhere.
