Hoping someone with this setup can chime in.
I am researching this tank as my QT setup. I see the tank include a foam filter in the second chamber. Can this foam fit in the first chamber? I am thinking shortening this foam in the first chamber, and put a filter floss on top of this foam. Water will flow form the filter floss to this foam piece, trapping most of the stuff. I can replace the floss a couple of times a week. I plan to just put sechem matrix in a media bag, in the the second chamber. The main purpose is to simply maintenance. replacing filter floss is easier than rinsing out the entire foam block.
Is the dimension of the first and second chamber about the same as the first?
Any comments?
