I just bought a Fluval 45 gallon bow front aquarium and needed to drill it. I did a ton of internet searches to find out if the back glass was tempered. I could not find anything so I wanted to post this for anyone that maybe looking,, and I am happy to report that it is not tempered.
I originally bought an Aqueon 46 gallon bow for this project, I hated the huge plastic divider in the middle of the tank. The Fluval is a rimless with a glass divider and seems to be sturdier and have a cleaner look.
Pictures was taken just after drilling so the aquarium is wet.
