Fluval c2 ammonia remover?

Hey I just got the fluval c2 filter with the fluval ammonia remover I put it in my filter and now the water is pretty cloudy im wondering if anybody has used the c2 and is it good for a 10 gallon nano reef?

And should I get another powerhead I currently have the a hydor 150 gph pretty sure or 250
