Fluval evo 13.5 build

this would be a decent “cheap” option. Hygger has always done good by me. I wouldn’t waste the money on the other 2.
hygger Full Spectrum Aquarium Light with Aluminum Alloy Shell Extendable Brackets, White Blue Red LEDs, External Controller, for Freshwater Fish Tank

That works! Lol a lot cheaper than the InTank version

I like what you’re doing there! I’ve got a modded 13.5 EVO myself :) 1 year in… I will say FROM EXPERIENCE twice in this thing though, you should’ve waited on the bubble tip at least another 6 months… also, ditch that nasty fluval foam block… those are an ammonia breeding ground. The skimmer is useless in a tank this small. Weekly water changes of 10-15% will take care of what a skimmer does on a tank this size… I recommend ditching the skimmer, too, getting an InTank media basket for the first chamber and converting the second into a micro fuge. These little upgrades will work wonders if you’re going reef

Awesome!! Where have you positioned your wave maker?
It’s a hygger nano wave maker. I’ve got it in on the opposite side of the tank blowing back towards the return

Nice dude, could you attach a photo please?

Im running AI Nero 3
You can kinda see it in the first pic I posted in the thread. I don’t have any more photos, unfortunately. I’ve since upgraded the tank to a 40b.
