Hey everyone been a member on here for a short while. 15 years ago I had a 50g mixed reef but being young and a lot of algae pushed me away. This time I started small just for fun. Plans of a Red Sea max e 170 are in the near future anyway here is my 5 month old mixed reed evo
Sicce return pump
Filter chamber modded to filter floss and media bags
Chamber one ps2 skimmer
Right now fish wise are a pair of captive bred ocellaris clowns that passed 8 week quarantine back in July
Corals range from Xenia Duncan zoa garden montiporas lepto gsp mushrooms and acans all doing well under the stock lights
Currently in my 5g qt tank in copper is a fire fish and orchid dottyback

thanks everyone I really enjoy this forum

Looks good! Thanks for sharing!

Good luck! I am planning to start a species tank Fluval 13 in the next few months. Maybe a frogfish, lionfish, or Hawaiin Bobtail squid. Depends on what I can catch locally.

I'll be following your journey.

Just waiting to add corals here's a few pics so far mine is the fluval spec 60 marine tank slightly taller than the evo but basically identical, same light and filtration. I've been thinking about upgrading the light as I've heard mixed reviews on the fluvial standard light it comes with. Got the ps2 skimmer aswell and found it to do quite a good job, it is a bit loud though.

Mine will only have the 2 clowns in and maybe a shrimp.
