This is a thread to show my tank. It's been quite a work in progress as I am new to reefing. I started this tank as a mixed reef nano in October 2016, but decided to go in a different direction recently.

The system as it is has been running for roughly two months.

Sustainable Aquatics is based near me, and I made a road trip to their factory outlet store The Coral Reef today. I was pleased to find a tank filled to the brim with "rescue fish," including long-fin and lightning maroon clowns to name a few, and I decided to give this little guy a chance. He's a black snowflake, and at $10, he was quite a steal. What's more, he immediately (literally, within 10 seconds) bonded with my larger black Ocellaris. The two are inseparable and my black Ocellaris seems reinvigorated. They are currently doing the courting dance.

I have a fluval as well. Ant tips inchoud know what you upgrade? And found useful. You look like you know what your doing lol.

I have the Current USA Loop system with a light and wave pump. I had to replace the canopy with a BRS DIY screen top. I also have the inTank media basket made for the tank with filter floss and Chemipure running. I use a Tunze nano auto top off unit. Return pump is stock, but I might recommend an upgrade.

I wanted to update this thread with a progression of FTSs:
