Hi I’ve had my Fluval evo setup and running for almost a year now I added a clarkii clown pair and a blue cheek goby after about 2 months from setup. Since then the female clarkii has killed her partner and my blue cheek goby. She’s been in the tank on her own ever since and I’m struggling to find out what tank mates anyone would recommend.thanks

I don't doubt it! There's not much hiding that can be done in these tanks. Aren't Clarki's a relatively aggressive clown?

I tried to pair up several clowns in this tank and lost 2 fish due to it.
True and with that size of a tank it probably is territorial to the entire tank and said mine

This is her in her tank today I was thinking of sending her back to lfs and swapping with something else I’m not sure what to do

It just depends on your attachment to the fish I purchased fish to cure and issue just to send it back and eat the cost it’s not like your sending a fish down the toilet to kill it if this is your only tank I woulda brought that fish back once it started bullying lol don’t feel constrained to one fish get her out and enjoy this hobby

lol yes I probably have some sort of attachment to the fish taking her back was my last option but I think it’s going to have to be that way but I’m not sure what else I’d like to add to replace her and I also want to add some more frags. I like wrasse but I think the tank is a tad to small for their swimming space needs. Any suggestions what to replace her with?

I did see one of those at my lfs I had never seen one in person before. one of they guys in there did recommend a six line wrasse or a royal gramma
Six lines re notoriously aggressive and Royal grammas are hit or miss, some are peaceful and others highly territorial. Any wrasse in the wetmorella genus (Possum wrasse) are the perfect and beautiful alternative to a sixline or pink streaked wrasse are also really peaceful and entertaining.
