Fluval evo 13.5 versus Cora life biocube 16

Hi all,
After an eight year hiatus(39 gal Fowler tank) I’m looking to start a beginner coral/fish AIO. Any preferences with these two?

I have the Fluval 13.5. It's a cool little tank, but the light, hood and pump leave a lot to be desired. I replaced them all after about a month and it's been running pretty good for over a year. Since the water volume is so low, it is very difficult to stay on top of the parameters. An ATO is a must!

If I had the chance to redo my start into the reef world, I would have waited until I could get at least a 40g with a sump.

All that being said, I still love my little Fluval.

This is what I am running on the Fluval:

- Removed and chunked the lid
- Replaced the light with IC Pro Duals (link to Current-USA.com)
- Replaced the pump with Sicce Syncra Silent 1.0 (remove all the plastic to make it fit)
- AutoAqua Smart ATO Micro
- 2.5 gallon plastic water container (lasts about 10 days)
