Fluval Evo 5 Dry Rock amont

hello,
I am setting up a 5 gal. I used live sand in addition to biospira and am waiting for my n cycle to complete. I bought some dry rock today and placed it in the tank. 8 pounds. 1 rock wasn't super porous and is pretty heavy. It barely leaves room on the front or back of the glass at the widest portion of the rock. Opinions on the amount/size of the rock used? Is it too much? Just right?

It’s a good amount I think. But that rock is just too big.

Hello and Welcome to R2R! There’s one potential problem with your large rock... you can’t get in there and clean your glass.

Thanks guys! I was able to return the price of dry rock and got a nice size and shaped cured piece. And it has some color! Not sure if it's coraline or not but the wife likes it.

Now just waiting for my cycle to finish! 2 ppm of ammonia is gone in about 6-8 hours and my nitrite levels are dropping (.5 ppm atm) Super stoked!
