FLUVAL EVO 5 INTANK BASKET

I'm going to be getting my INTANK media basket for my fluval evo tomorrow and wondering what everyone is running for media in these baskets?
I'm discovering carbon is kind of a "no no" for reef tanks except in medical or emergency situations which could explain a few things in my 55 gal 10 years ago. So I'd like to get peoples input on what they suggest in a 5 gallon nano. Any input is appreciated!!

I run matrix carbon and some bio media in all my reef tanks and haven't had an issue.

What type of bio media, Marine gems by chance?

I just use the fluval biomax. I've never been super picky with my bio media since I use a lot of rock in my tanks.
