I am in the process of moving in my new home.I have a 180 on the way and this will be my main display tank. I have my fish QT situation taken care of. I do have a Fluval Evo 13.5 setup ready to go with Prime HD. Would this be an ok setup for a coral frag QT tank? The tank will be in my fish room where my water station is, so a few water changes a week will not be an issue. Was thinking of maybe a 6 line wrasse to get what ever pests the dip misses.

I’ve been keeping some hardier coral like mushrooms and zoas in my Fluval evo 5 gallon for years now. I’ve also been keeping a torch in there for about two years that’s pretty much the entire tank now so I’m about to frag him this week, and give him a better home. So yeah you should be fine using that as a qt.

That should be a fine coral/invert QT setup. I have a 10 gallon IM tank with a prime HD and it works well.

I keep invert/coral separate from fish, so I wouldn't have any fish in it. If you are dipping corals on their way in, then that should take care of most pests. I observe and then do another light dip when I move things to the display tank.

Look at a pink streak wrasse, 6 lines are potential jerks.
