Hi all,

I got a brand new fluval evo 13.5, from a shop three weeks ago. Today, I had my hand randomly at the bottom corner to check something when I scratched it. Then, I realized a piece of glass came loose. I did not hit or damage this - it must have been like this. I spent a lot of money to get this started, and I don’t have the ability to buy anything else to replace it. It already has a clown and water in it.

I feel stick to my stomach. I don’t know what to do, and whether this will leak. When I put my finger in, the corner is not that deep. My apologies for the bad photos, it was hard taking them

It’s sort of hard to see in the pictures, plus the design on the tank.

The safest thing to do would be replace it.

That said, I did have a similar crack/chip on a 7 gallon tank that was fine.

Yeah it was quite hard to take the photo. I don't think I could replace it, as I spent all my money basically buying what I needed. I think at this point I would just leave the hobby altogether (I took a break and just started again).

The chip itself is not deep, maybe a cm in. Would expoxy work?
