I decided that I want my 175g to focus on SPS so I'm going to set up this tank for things like rhicordea, rock nems, lps and zoas. As far as stocking there will probably only be 3 maybe 4 fish. So far it'll be a purple fire fish and a royal gramma.

Equipment list (so far)
2 - AI Primes
Waveline DC2500 pump
Ozmolator nano ATO
Hydor nano slim skimmer
MP10
Special grade sand
BRS reef saver rock

Slowly making progress...got the sand in and some of the rocks. I'd ordered 20 lbs and specified pieces about 6". Well...I got 4 that were the perfect size and one that was about the size of a volley ball...not gonna work at all. Lights are programmed and attached. Right now they're 9" above the top of the tank...may need to adjust them once the tank is running. Gotta order some more rock so hopefully I'll have water in it by the weekend of the 20th.

Haha sounds like my experience with their rock. I went Marco rocks this time. Tank looks great! I am also running the two primes on a 30 Long. Love them

Thanks.

What kind of corals do you have and how are you running your lights?

I run my sunrise starting at 8 and and sunset at 6 and I ramped mine up to 50% on everything and 10% cool white. That's the best color combination I have had so far.

I keep lps, softies and zoas. I have a montiopora in there that does great. I have a few acan frags, torch, hammer, frogspawn, goniporas and everything loves the light.

That's pretty much the same things I plan to keep.

Awesome tank. Do they come frosted like that up top? That's a great idea.

Yes, they come frosted like that. I'm hoping it helps hide the water line between cleanings. :-)

I got power cords rearranged in the controller cabinet and moved an EB8 over and got the new outlets programmed for everything. Got water and salt in but had to make one change. The DC pump I bought (smallest size) was waaaaaaaaaay too much for the internal filter system. I even backed it down to 2% and it was still pushing more water into the tank than the wiers on the baffles could handle. I put the pump that came with the tank on it and it runs perfectly...imagine that...

Yea! Another Fluval build!
I started my M60 build last year and I'm really liking the Fluval for an AIO nano tank; although I should post some updates.
Your coral selection sounds great for these small tanks. I haven't finalized my coral list, but I'm leaning towards a softie tank; like you, my larger tank is mostly SPS.

Looks like a great start.
Keep us posted with your progress!

Got the additional rock in this morning. I think I've got some pretty good spots for lots of zoas and enough real estate on the sand for other stuff.

Finally got everything moved over. I'm still not good at doing video...

Over the weekend I ordered an Artfully Acrylic Lid!!! Not sure I can wait so long...I like instant gratification!!! :-)

What's an Artfully Acrylic Lid? Do you have a link?
Here's the link:
http://artfullyacrylic.3dcartstores.com/

They've got some preset lids for Red Sea and IM tanks. If you have a different manufacturer you can select the Custom Lid option. You would measure to determine the square footage and select that size option. For the M90 it fits in the 2-4 sf option and you'd send the exact inside measurements.

Can't wait to get my lid so I can get some more fish! My purple firefish is getting lonely!

Your tank looks amazing. I've got the same tank too doesn't look half as nice as yours though. How do you have the chambers set up and what media do you have in them?

Thanks. I'm doing softies in this one so didn't want the water to be too clean. I've got a skimmer in the 2nd section and that's it.

Did you have any issues with the overflow? With mine the water in the 1st and 2nd chambers stayed the same level as in the tank so I wasn't getting any surface skimming. Had to buy an aftermarket weir that I could set a little higher than the tank weir and that solved the issue.
