That's a knockoff light for 9-gal and 15-gal systems.

This thread is specifically about the Flex 32.5 and the Fluval part # 14513 not existing, even though it is listed/marketed on the box of the aquarium.

I personally think a Chinese blackbox is better than anything Fluval makes.. Have used a LOT of Fluval this past year.. they dont light a tank for much but a few low light corals. If that is all you keep, I guess they are fine.. But if you want to keep more, I would ditch them. They are not worth the supposed cost savings if you kill corals from poor lights.

I have a the Fluval 3.0 for quarantine. I wouldn’t use it over my display. Not enough par to grow most corals.
Would be great for a fish only tank

My corals have been growing just fine with the single light. One thing to consider with the Flex tanks, they aren't very deep. The corals in my sandbed have been growing at a similar rate to corals I see in other tanks.

Exactly, these will definitely grow corals, mine have been doing great on the Flex. Also, the lights are almost touching the water = more PAR than most achieve without the Flex.

Just like you, I want to add another one to increase light spread and remove a few shadows while keeping the stock hood fixture.

Good News Everyone! I also sent a request to Fluval CS, and they said the 14513 light would be available in about a month... So on a whim, I went and looked... they're available to purchase directly from Fluval now. I didn't see anything about shipping time, and they charge you for shipping, but this seems to be the only way to get them right now.

Wanted to follow up. My light shipped in about 5 business days from when I ordered. So they are indeed shipping and not pre-orders.

Ill second that, not great for Coral and I’m currently planning my upgrade to a Radion G5 when they are back in stock. It’s been a great starter light to get me off the stock light that came with the tank, but just doesn’t seen powerful enough.

All of my SPS have been growing just fine, montipora, acropora, seriatopora. Picture above is 8 weeks no dosing, then 3 weeks dosing with blue/violet/cyan at 50% with 5% white. Have since increased to 100% & 10% with better color but more visible shadows.

I have one acro that isn't coloring up though, some higher intensity demanding ones may not be best.

Following up to this thread for future usefulness

Part# 14513 does not come with a power supply "transformer"
I bought a $20 one on Amazon instead of $64 Fluval, and it works fine!

Thanks for the tip! I am in canada and did not find the exact model on Amazon.ca but found similar listings. Can you confirm the connection is the standard 5.5 mm tip and you did not have to use any of the additional connectors? this is the listing for reference

Yes sir, the standard 5.5mm x 2.5mm fits!

You need to match the voltage of the orig.
Amps/watts need only be equal or greater.

Can someone with the Flex 32.5 Marine please help me out
I need to know the information on the Power Supply for the LED LIGHTS
so I can buy the adapter locally
Volts?
Watts?
Amps?
any if you know the light connection end that may help im pretty sure its the same as the Fresh water version
Would really help me out if someone can do this for me =)
