Is anyone using this skimmer on their tank? I got one yesterday already producing good foam for a drier skim but holy heck is it producing some micro bubbles. Sure it’ll take some time initially for break in period but has anyone else experienced this. Ive got large pocket air bubbles now under some rock work an it worries me lol

I can’t answer the specific question, but I can maybe bump the thread for you to see if we can get you some help

Thank you. It’s actually broken loose now and tank is crystal clear zero bubbles so everything is working as it should it’s just running a wetter skim right now than I’d like but other then that it’s doing it’s job

I’ve been using the ps1 since April. It took about 2 weeks to full break in and I had a bunch of micro bubbles too but noticed no issues with them. The fiddling with the adjustments can be annoying as water level changed but since I added an ATO I’ve had zero issues.

I have a lot of high surface flow so that may be an issue with getting a good skim with it constantly being wavy up top but it’s going good. Is it normal for my 40b to have these like bubbles at the surface in corners of tank and side ? It’s like they are trapped there and won’t move unless I blow them away from the corners do I need more surface flow then what I’ve got? Kind of hard to explain these bubbles they are just like air bubbles up top in the corners lol.
