Hi Guys,
I've got a Fluval PS2 Skimmer that I just installed on my evo 13.5. I know it's normal for a skimmer to need a break in period, as the oils are hydrophobic and it takes time to begin producing skimmate.
I installed mine 2 days ago and it's been running the full 2 days. The air is all the way open, but the water level isn't even at the bottom of the cup and the bubbles aren't accumulating to even reach the neck of the skimmer cup.
Is this normal? Does it just need more time to work off all of the manufacturing oils?
