Fluval related

Does anyone know if the carbon pad that comes with the fluval fx4 canister filter is the same as activated carbon in a bag? If not can I just do a swap? I have activated carbon and bags. Thanks in advance

You can make that swap to any carbon and it should work just fine! Its performing the same ultimate task so swapping the carbon should be just fine to do!
