Hi all, I've finally finished my fluval sea evo build and its ready for corals. Wish I had more photos but for some reason I lost some photos when I upgraded my phone.

I started this build back in May and tank has been left to cycle since then, it has gone through so many stages of algea, cyano and dinos but now its all gone and in my opinion well ready for corals.

Lights maxspect rsx 100
TMC reef tide 4000 wave maker
TMC ATO
Eheim compact 1000lph return pump
D-d aquascape rock
Caribsea fiji pink sand.
Seneye reef monitor
Fluval E advanced 50w heater
D-d pro 4 channel dosing pump on the way.

Only standard equipment left in the tank is the 2 directional output nosel. Lid has been modified to maintain the clean look of the aquarium. I tried the skimmer that is recommended for the aquarium but its so noisy and temperamental its just not worth it. Nitrates are sitting around 2ppm with just weekly water change.

The tank only has 1 emerald crab and a pair of black and white clowns, I will add a few turbo snails but thats all.

I intend to use the redsea ABC foundation once corals go in.

Let me know what you think!

I have the same tank, currently cycling. What do you use in chamber 1 and 2? Also did the heater fit in the return pump chamber?

I have a sicce 1.0 pump but the pump is touching the wall and making a loud rattling sound. The stock pump seems to far quieter. I ordered some silicon pads as well as silicon tube, hopefully it can make the pump silent.

I messed around with a lot of things in the chambers, I tried the skimmer but its a waste of time and money. I found the best thing is to only use the foam filter block in chamber 2 and carbon for 7 days once a month. Nothing in chamber 1 just the ATO. My nitrates are currently between 1 and 2 ppm on salifert and my phosphate is 0.03 on hanna checker. I only have 2 clowns, emerald crab and a small conch so the bio load is small. I do a 10 liter water change once a week and wash the filter foam in the old tank water. Only takes 15 minutes.

I tried a few pumps and found the Eheim compact 1000 fits perfectly and runs silent, the heater fits in the pump chamber.

I upgraded the wave pump to a AI nero 3 as I found the flow was too direct with the TMC reef tide.

This is the tank now, I've started adding corals this week.

Moved a few thing around and added more corals. Everything nice, happy and stable.
