Fluval sea PS2 mini skimmer

Hi guys,

Anyone using Fluval sea PS2 mini skimmer here? my redstarfish skimmer stopped working so i bought this new skimmer.. i dialed it properly as instructed, but the skimmate seems more like a clear liquid. Normally it will be bit yellowish blue/green color in my previous skimmer.

I havent got the skimmer but its just skimming too wet. Needs some adjustment. Are the bubbles too close to the collection cup?

no its not too close. i adjusted the air-intake/water in take level etc but its still the same

Some skimmers are less effective than others. See how it is over the break in period.

That skimmer is a piece of junk. You'd be better off with the glass skimmer from MD if you actually want it to skim properly. The only down side is that you need to use your own receptacle for the skim and it's HIGHLY overpriced for what it is. But it works much better and you can adjust the height.
