Fluval Spec 16

Hey guys I'm a big noob in saltwater and I have a fluval spec 16 laying around. I've noticed alot of people use the Evo 13.5 but I don't want to put this tank to waste so my question is would the light of the Evo 13.5 stock light fit into the fluval spec 16 hood, because I want keep as much of the stock look as possible and don't want to buy another aquarium. Thank you it would be much appreciated if anyone knows the answer for definite

Hello.
I have a saltwater EVO13.5 that I set up for freshwater. Ran into ONE big problem. The saltwater version light is 13000K and grows algae like wildfire. To resolve the issue after buying lots of algae eaters failed was to but the light for the SPEC 16 which only 7000K and fits perfectly.
