Hi guys! I am currently setting up my quarantine tank, I’m using a old fluval spec to do so, I know it is small but my display tank is only 15 gallons so won’t be getting any bigger fish. I was wondering what to do for the filtration, I was going to keep the pump thats in there and just use some filter floss and a piece of live rock from my already cycled tank, would that be okay? Thank you!

I would just seed the tank with a sponge from your current running tank instead of the live rock. But everything else sounds great! Filter floss is a good idea.

Awesome thank you! Currently don’t have a sponge in my running tank should I put one in there for a few days and transfer over to the quarantine tank?

Yup personally that’s what I would suggest but maybe a little longer like a week then should be all set.
