I'm looking to set up a pico in my classroom with zoas, GSP, and xenia. I saw the Fluval spec V at seaside yesterday and I liked the size of it. My concert is with the LED. Has any one used this tank for softies successfully?

I liked the tank-small but it had room for improvised filtration.
The screws just irritated me a little.
Thanks for the heads up!its actually not very big BUT I was able to fit a sponge on one side (verticle) by the overflow to the return pump and chemipure. Thats all you really need in a tank that small anyway.
One side note, there is a hole in the black part that is an "oops" in case you drain too much water-so the return pump doesnt burn up. Youll want to superglue or epoxy it. My sand was always getting into the wrong places. Photo attached.![]()
