Fluval testing kits?????

Gotta be honest here, didn't know Fluval makes test kits :-)

Are you a new reef keeper looking for advice on what to buy, or do you already this kit looking for advice on how to use it efficiently and consistently? :-)

I'm torn between trying out that salifert test kit or just breaking down and buying the full on Hannah kit but come across fluval (I also didn't know fluval made this) in my local fish store and thought I'll ask here

Salifert seems to be the gold standard for the ones who can read it and use it consistently. Sadly, i am not one of them - never excelled in Salifert.

I use Hanna for alk, phosphate and nitrate and Red Sea for the rest.

Its not about what's best, it's about which ones works consistently for you :-)

If you end up getting the Fluval, it would be interesting to hear more about your experience!!

Well I will prob end up getting a couple of them just to compare I was thinking real heavily on the red sea kits also I have used them in the past and I do like them I will post update here

Got the fluval it actually gave not very accurate ph or nitrate readings red sea and hannas were very similar and fulval was off quite a bit so for me no go on fluval
