Flux RX - what negative effects have people had?

I've got Bryopsis in one of my tanks and so far I've been pulling it out by hand - that's not working so I'm thinking of trying Flux RX - its the only thing that seems available in the UK.

The tank its going in has some quite expensive LPS and I don't want to lose anything! (I had Dinos in another tank earlier in the year and Dino X caused massive damage to my LPS so I'm careful now with any treatments I put in!)

Another - question there seems to be mixed reports on its effect on Chaeto - the tank has an algae reactor and Ideally I don't want to remove it, but if its going to kill the chaeto I'll remove it for now.

Final 2 Q's, Can I leave thte phosphate reactor on? Also I have a reactor running cuprisorb (the tank was used as a copper QT in an emergency for a short while) - can I leave that running? (I like to have it on there for belt and braces. The reality is any copper is probably stripped out by now)

I’ve used the flux rx with good results. I would pull all the cheato and any media for the duration of the treatment. A good amount of socks or filter pads on hands also is a good idea. The skimmer can be back on after day 2-3. I would wait until water change at 10-14 days to get the media and cheato back in. Like you mentioned it may be time to pull the Cuprisorb.

Not sure on lps, it’s not supposed to be an issue.

I've used another fluconazole product (Reef Flux) twice, and both times my Montipora Undata had very negative reactions to it. All other corals (LPS, SPS, softies) were unaffected. It does a great job getting rid of algae as long as the areas are exposed to sufficient light. Lower light areas tend to hang on to algae longer during treatment.
