Hi, I would like to introduce myself and start my reef build on this thread. So first off this will be my second saltwater tank. I had a 20 gallon tank about 11 years ago while I was in high school. Tank 1 was very short lived as I went to college. I'm married now with a baby boy on the way. My wife has given me the go ahead to start tank 2. My long term goal is to eventually keep an octopus. Not in this tank*

Ok so now on my plan and questions.

Setup
I'm looking at getting an all in one tank. Specifically the Deluxe Red Sea Reefer 170. What do I need to buy separately? Also a lot has changed in 11 years and what's the talk about an aquarium computer?

Livestock
2 - Clown Fish
1 - Sea Anemone
Zooanthids
Possibly a goby and pistol shrimp
How many fish can I safely keep in the RS Reefer 170?
